The temple in the tomb “Shoushmanets” is located near the town of Shipka. Opened in August 1996 it consists of a wide corridor, an entrance with semi-cylindrical vault and a round dome camera whose surfaces are covered with fine shiny white plaster. In the middle of the hall is elegant Ionic columns and in the center of the circular chamber rises massive Doric column. The plastic decoration with semi-columns and pilasters reflects the religious and philosophical view of ancient tracians for the construction of world . The tomb was robbed in antiquity. Its unique architecture makes it one of the most representative works of Thracian architecture.
